Natives of Moldova and Ukraine are suspected of murdering nine-year-old Ukrainian Valeria, whose body was found on June 11 in the vicinity of the German city of Debeln in Saxony. This was reported by Bild in Russian on June 13 in its Telegram channel.

The publication recalled that the girl lived in Ukraine until 2022, and then moved to Germany with her mother and grandmother. Her father remained in the Ukrainian army, and later her parents divorced.

The first suspect in her murder is the former lover of the 33-year-old mother of the child, Moldovan Andrei. According to the publication, he lives in Prague, but on the day of Valeria’s disappearance he was in Debeln and wrote to the girl’s mother, demanding to call. Czech investigators cannot find the man.

The second heated one is Gennady, a 50—year-old Ukrainian, a neighbor of the girl’s family. The man wanted a relationship with her mother, but she refused him, after which Gennady promised to «ruin her life.» The publication clarifies that Valeria, shortly before her death, reported that she was being pursued by an adult man. Law enforcement officers in Germany also cannot find him.

The Saxony police confirmed on June 12 that the body found a day earlier in the vicinity of Debeln belongs to nine-year-old Valeria. It was noted that she died as a result of a violent death. The child was last seen on June 3, when she went to school, but never reached her.
