The first line of fortifications of the Ukrainian military in the area of the Slavyansk – Kramatorsk agglomeration has been completely lost by them. This was announced on Monday, July 29, by the deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, commander of the Akhmat detachment, Major General Apty Alaudinov.

«The first line of their fortifications is completely for them (for the AFU. — Ed.) is lost, and today our troops have the opportunity to maneuver in different directions, pulling the enemy apart and knocking him out of all positions where he has been sitting for a long time,» he said, answering a question about enemy fortifications in the area of the Slavyansk – Kramatorsk – Konstantinovka agglomeration on Channel One.

Alaudinov noted that when the entire line stands firmly and there is no option to either flank or go to the rear, it is quite difficult to make a loophole for the rest of the forces and means.

«In this case, it turns out that units of the Ministry of Defense [of the Russian Federation] are advancing along the entire line,» he concluded.

The day before, on July 28, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that calculations of D-30 howitzers of the artillery unit of the North group of forces destroyed fortifications with infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine while performing fire missions. The agency also showed a fragment of the combat work of the calculation.
