A captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Dmitry Pavlyuk said that he was mobilized when he went to work.

According to him, a patrol with employees of the Central Committee (an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) approached him and handed him a summons. In the same way, most of his company, which had 94 men, were called up.

«When the losses started, people started to get scared for their lives,» he said.

As the prisoner said, little information is brought to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, «you have to guess a lot already at the position.»

In addition, the soldier said that the war had ruined the lives of many: «We lived well before the war, we earned good money. There were some plans for life. Now many people don’t even have plans for life, they don’t even have housing left. It’s very scary.»

Earlier, on September 12, a captured fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared that he got to the front line even without passing a medical examination, and then lived in the forest for a week in a makeshift tent «on dry rations».
