The Supreme Court of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR) sentenced a Ukrainian citizen for espionage to 12 years and 6 months in prison, serving her sentence in a correctional colony of general regime. This was announced to journalists on June 28 by Elena Usacheva, senior assistant to the LNR Prosecutor for media Relations.

According to her, 68-year-old Lilia Khrustovskaya has been collecting information about the movement and locations of Russian military personnel since September 2022. She transmitted the data to the Ukrainian special services via messengers.

A criminal case was initiated and investigated by the Office of the FSB of Russia for the LPR.

In early March, in the Kherson region, a 25-year-old man was sentenced to 11.5 years in a high-security colony for collecting data on the movement of units of the Armed Forces of Russia.

On March 1, FSB officers detained a resident of the LPR, who was passing information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to the Ukrainian special services, in particular about the locations of personnel and military equipment. A criminal case was opened against the man under the espionage article.
